Meet our Featured Artist: Junction Five

Choosing Junction Five to be the A2Gmusic.com Featured Artist for February was easy. The Rochester, New York quartet’s CD Missiongloryalphavader offers ten well crafted and well produced tracks.

The songs are a moody mix of electrified folk and smooth seventies rock can be heard throughout. "Cannonball' is undeniably the catchiest song and the band was smart to start off the record with this gem. Junction Five has appeared live on local television and radio as well as opening for acts including Jesus Jones, Jeff Healy, and Jefferson Starship.
Junction Five is a bit of a mystery as their press kit doesn’t include a bio on how the band formed or how long they’ve been together. However, the music on Missiongloryalphavader reveals the band’s above average musicianship and smart songwriting.
